President Oscar

The weekend has been rainy in AZ. The water is standing in the yard and the dogs are forlorn, looking out of the shed waiting for something to happen.

The one thing that happened yesterday was:
I like getting up in the morning and reading in my big chair. Yesterday, it was about architecture in Shanghai (the great mass of swirling ideas becoming manifest in a country that is just getting off the ground). I read some poems and made some plans: got some thinking done.

And then I went to work where I looked at drawings and imagined them as complete buildings and where would the conduit go and how would the fixture hang and how long it would take to install it all. Which is the same thing I'm doing today; President's Day (Hooray for President's Day, Hooray!)

I've been eating terribly lately and my body shows the effects. Today, it is about raw veggies and water. Which brings us back to the rain. The Rain.
