somehow it overwhelms suddenly
washing over this love this attachment
to someone else who knows how it happens
in the shower or getting dressed or out
on the patio alone under the sky with
the dogs out playing the feeling of connection
with each other with others with one
who knows and is not rejected and trys and trys
and makes me larger than myself and fills
the spaces that are empty and blocked
up or pushed down and make them into something
else entirely
