To think, if I won the Powerball,
what I would do with that windfall
in the 30 odd years I have left.
Would it be a burden I would heft
and falter under and become weak
and given to vice and constantly seek
to satisfy the flesh and it's desire
or perhaps withdraw and slowly retire
becoming self-absorbed and given more
to solitude and walking to the store
as one who carries a weight looking down
passing the smiles while wearing a frown.
