Just back from vacation,
wading in reflected surfaces.
So good to be someone else
for a while without history
or the burden of expectation.
Coming back, through
the airports, the charade of identity
becoming more concrete and weighing
down the dreams and flights of fantasy
while soaking in the sun.
So I'm home now,
waiting for the beginning
of the transformed person
just imagined a few days ago
while I was on vacation.
