What in the night could possibly recover
the lost time: the particular feeling that began
and ended in the thought, the action, the remedy
that, considered, only resolves itself in action.
It is in the particulars, in every moment
that we are able to free ourselves
from the malingering hatred
we have so longly loved to hate.
