Stating the case again simply
saying the words: I need you,
I want you, I love you.
While the endless summer continues
to stream its dying rays
into every thing we once were,
drying into brown stems
and skeletons covered with what
we once thought of as our lives
together, the heaviness of a colder
future left alone in a house
where no onle lives any more.
