A journal of musings, ramblings, paintings, songs, half-hearted notes, half-baked ideas, recipes, dreams, pieces of twine, road signs, cocktail napkins and small disasters.

Ambititon
It is a mark of discipline to slog through the work, rote work that must be done, the organizing and the making of tables and lists. The small shovelfuls that begin the clearing away of the brush and debris to gain a clear perspective. The steps and stops before we become giants leaping over everyone below us. The work of the trenches before the whiskey on the veranda. The shoulder to the wheel before doors open before us. The need for money vanquished only after the need consumes.
